5th June

New day. New shoot!

Today, I'm travelling to Sheperd's Bush. I arrive and meet up with the photographer, make-up artist, and other model. We go to the hair and make up studio. I'm first in having make-up done; which is a natural look, in one of my photos below; polarise style. I get changed and where the white t-shirt. Then, we both get splashed with paint. I'm in primary colours, and the other girl in secondary colours. It is everywhere, shucks for the white wall of the make-up rooms. We go back to studio and have more 'after photos'. The difference with studio shoots is everything is perfect. In some ways they take longer because of lack of natural lighting and a lot more equipment. Behind all the lights and everything is the model. This was a natural shoot with not much experiment of poses. I was told to sit directly to camera with no expression and wide eyes. I like it, and it was very creative. There is a certain buzz to studio shoots.
After quite a long day we got the images, and called it a day! The make up artist was really good. It was a fun day. The music and studio lighting really helps make it a more comfortable expedition.
